Faith Ann Reeher Faith Ann Reeher, 1200 S. Hermitage Road, Hermitage, died at 8:50 p.m. Monday (3-25-02) in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage. She was 73. Obituary information was incomplete.
REEHER Elizabeth 'Libby' H. McNeil Cleveland hospital retiree was Sacred Heart member Elizabeth "Libby" H. McNeil of 327 Vernon Court, Sharon, a resident of Hospitality Care Center in Hermitage, died at 8:10 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2002, in Hospitality Care Center. She was 91. Miss McNeil was born June 20, 1910, in Sharon to Arthur McNeil and Annie Marmion McNeil. She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School in Sharon and retired after 40 years of service at St. John's Hospital in Cleveland, where she was a nursery attendant. Miss McNeil was a member of Church of the Sacred Heart in Sharon. The last member of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
McNEIL Ralph A. Hassel Sr. Oil company retiree was New Virginia U.M. member A funeral service will be held Thursday for Ralph A. Hassel Sr., Cottage Colony, 341 E. Jamestown Road, West Salem Township, formerly of Allison Park, Pa. He died at 7:10 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2002, in St. Paul Homes, West Salem Township. He was 83. Mr. Hassel was born April 8, 1918, in Pittsburgh to Andrew L. Hassel and Mabel M. Lips Hassel. He was a graduate of Connelley Trade School and was employed in the executive offices of Gulf Oil Co., both Pittsburgh. Mr. Hassel also worked in several positions of the company's treasury department, retiring in 1981 as the cashier of the department after 29 years. He belonged to New Virginia United Methodist Church in Hermitage; and to Free and Accepted Masons Lodge 793 in Glenshaw, Pa., where he was one of the founding members. Surviving are: his wife, the former Marguerite J. Hassel, whom he married Sept. 19, 1941, at home; one son, Ralph A. Hassel Jr., Kenner, La.; and two grandsons, E. Andrew Hassel and Nathan C. Hassel. Mr. Hassel was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Howard L. Hassel. Memorial contributions may be made to New Virginia United Methodist Church, 1100 S. Keel Ridge Road, Hermitage 16148.
Larry J. 'Montana' 'Bones' Hamilton Cochranton native was hunter, fisherman AUSTIN, Texas -- Larry J. "Montana" "Bones" Hamilton, Brownsboro, Texas, formerly of Delmont, Pa., died at 1:09 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2002. He was 46. Mr. Hamilton was born July 24, 1955, in Cochranton, a son of Wilfred Hamilton and the late Helen Wade Hamilton. He was an avid hunter and also enjoyed fishing. Mr. Hamilton had followed his dreams to Montana, and subsequently to Texas. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one nephew, Joshua Lynn Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton is survived by: one son, Justin Hamilton, Greensburg; one daughter, Deanna Anderson Hahn and her husband Jeff, Trafford; two grandsons, Tyler and Owen Hahn; his father and stepmother, Mary Hamilton, Meadville; a brother, Samuel Hamilton and his wife, Kelly, Georgetown, Texas; two sisters, Ramona Kanouff and her husband Gary, Blairsville, Pa.; and Shurla Hamilton and her fiance, Dick Bellora, Export; and a stepsister, Jodi Starling, Sunbury, Ohio. He is the uncle of Danyelle Mastrilli, Steelyn Kanouff, Brandon Kanouff, Adam Hamilton, Luke Hamilton and of a great-niece, Zoe Mastrilli. Should friends desire, memorial remembrances may be directed to the family through the funeral home.
HAMILTON Rudolph J. Fabyanic New Brighton man was former owner of bakery BEAVER FALLS -- Rudolph J. Fabyanic of New Brighton died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2002, in Providence Health Center. He was 72. Mr. Fabyanic was born Aug. 13, 1929, in New Brighton, a son of the late Paul Fabyanic and Rose Stettner Fabyanic. He was the former owner of the Beaver Valley Bakery in New Brighton. Mr. Fabyanic was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Rochester, Pa.; and the Tuesday Night Bowling League. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kay Chabot Fabyanic, at home; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Dennis Darak, Center Township, Beaver County; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Janet Fabyanic, Espyville; and four grandchildren, Paul and Matthew Fabyanic; and D.J. and David Darak. Besides his parents, Mr. Fabyanic was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Fabyanic. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 393 Adams St., Rochester, Pa. 15074.
FABYANIC Catherine E. Bodesheim Zelienople woman had nieces, nephews in valley McCANDLESS TOWNSHIP, ALLEGHENY COUNTY -- Catherine E. Bodesheim, Zelienople, died Sunday, March 24, 2002, in UPMC Passavant. She was 91. Born Feb. 14, 1911, in Chicago Heights, Ill., Miss Bodesheim was a daughter of the late Frank C. Bodesheim and the late Elizabeth Shaffer Bodesheim. She was a life member of St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church in Zelienople. Miss Bodesheim was very active at the church and was the oldest living member of its St. Ann Guild. She was a homemaker and retired employee of Harmony Homes. Miss Bodesheim was also a creator of prized wedding quilts. She is survived by: a brother, Robert J. Bodesheim of Zelienople; and numerous nieces and nephews, some of which live in the Shenango Valley. Besides her parents, Miss Bodesheim was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Charles Bodesheim; and one sister, Louise Lipp. Memorial contributions may be made to Harmony Emergency Medical Services, Route 19, Harmony 16037; Zelienople Area Public Library, 227 S. High St., Zelienople 16063; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
