A Farrell man has been arrested for the fourth time in four months after allegedly harassing and assaulting a woman, police said.
Charles Dean Norris, 29, of 1225 Roemer Blvd., was arrested at 5:43 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Liberty Street on a warrant for aggravated assault, simple assault, burglary, criminal trespass, intimidation of a witness or victim, retaliation against a witness, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief and violation of a protection-from-abuse order, police said.
Norris went to a woman's house in the 300 block of Mesabi Street Sunday night and knocked on her front door and yelled, police said.
The woman, who had a PFA order against Norris, wouldn't let him in the house, so Norris shattered a window, kicked the door in and brandished a knife, police said. Norris threatened to come back if the woman called the police, police said.
Norris was also arrested Dec. 15 on a warrant for failure to pay fines and simple assault for an incident in the 800 block of Ravine Place where he punched a woman, police said.
He was also arrested Dec. 18 for an incident in the 800 block of Spearman Avenue on charges of harassment and stalking and intimidation of a victim or witness after he parked his car outside of a woman's house, opened the car doors and played songs of violent content, police said.
Norris faces charges of aggravated and reckless endangerment and terroristic threats for allegedly breaking a glass over a Sharon woman's head Dec. 19 at a Farrell bar.
Norris was taken to Mercer County Jail after failing to post $25,000 bond following an arraignment before District Justice James E. McMahon, Sharon.
