Fatal car crash victim was Linesville manState police have identified the man who died in a one-car accident Friday as 22-year-old Joseph Edward Mitzel of Linesville.
The accident occurred at 3 a.m. on Adamsville Road, South Shenango Township, police said.
Mitzel's vehicle was eastbound, apparently speeding, when Mitzel lost control on a curve, police said.
The vehicle went off the north berm, hit several trees and flipped onto its roof, police said.
Mitzel was thrown, police said.
Jamestown volunteer firefighters and ambulance personnel assisted.
