Daughter charged after fight

A 29-year-old Brookfield woman was arraigned this morning on a trio of charges in connection with an attack on her parents during an Easter Sunday argument over a refrigerator, police said.

Police said Tracy L. Cobb, of 7875 Rose Ave., argued with her parents at their home in the 400 block of Lafayette Ave. at 8:25 p.m. Sunday. Ms. Cobb hit her mother in the head with a phone after her mother tried to break up a shoving match between Ms. Cobb and her father, police said.

Ms. Cobb's mother received stitches at a local hospital, police said.

Ms. Cobb was arraigned this morning before District Justice James E. McMahon, Sharon, on charges of aggravated and simple assault and harassment and released on her own recognizance, an office spokeswoman said. She was ordered not to have any contact with her parents, the spokeswoman said.
