Woman tells police she was abducted, raped by 2 men

A 21-year-old Sharon woman told police she was abducted in Sharon and raped early Wednesday morning, police said.

The woman said a van pulled up beside her as she was walking at about 1 a.m. on North Water Avenue near Bridge Place and a man grabbed her and pulled her into the van and blindfolded her, police said. There were two men in the van, the driver and the one who grabbed her, police said.

The woman said the men drove her to an unknown location, took her into a house and sexually assaulted her. They then led her back to the van and drove around for an unknown amount of time before stopping and throwing her out of the van, police said.

The woman, who didn't know where she was, walked until she reached Sharon, then walked to the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System, where police were notified at 5 a.m., police said.

The woman said could not describe the men or the van. Police are trying to find the location where she was dropped off, police said.
