SANDY CREEK TOWNSHIP

Man listed in critical condition after wreck

A Greenville man whose blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit when he crashed his pickup Friday in Sandy Creek Township was in critical condition Saturday at UPMC Horizon, Greenville, according to state police and a hospital spokesperson.

Police said 47-year-old Gary Lee Riley wrecked the pickup he was driving at 2:26 p.m. on Sheakleyville-Greenville Road, crashing into a hill off the road and rolling his truck.

Police said Riley had a blood alcohol content of 0.309, more than three times the legal limit of 0.10.

Riley is to be arraigned after he is discharged from the hospital, police said.
