Police seek armed robbers

The following is this week's Mercer County Crime Solvers case:

  • Crime: Armed robbery

  • Details: The Sharon police department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 7:45 a.m. April 6.

    A black man wearing dark clothes entered a store, produced a black handgun and demanded money. A second black man, wearing dark clothes and a blue bandanna over his face, waited outside the door with a rifle.

    After fleeing with an undetermined amount of cash, the men fled into Farrell in a maroon 1995 Oldsmobile Ciera.

    The first man is described as 6 feet tall with a thin build.

    Anyone with information is asked to contact Sharon police department.

  • Call: Crime Solvers at 347-HELP, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Callers can remain anonymous and still be eligible for a cash reward.

  • Reward: Crime Solvers is a non-profit organization which offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible for a serious crime in the Mercer County area.
