A Farrell man and a former city man are among three people indicted by a federal grand jury in Cleveland on drug charges.

The indictment, handed down Tuesday, charges Alex Martin, also known as Terry Hunter, 39, of 809 Lee Ave., Farrell; Ramon T. "Mo-Man" Wright, 33, of Forest Park, Ohio, and formerly of Farrell; and Roger Williams, 34, of Moreno Valley, Calif., with conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute more than 5 kilograms -- about 11 pounds -- of cocaine and more than 5 grams of crack cocaine, said the U.S. Attorney's Office, Cleveland.

Martin and Williams also were charged with aiding and abetting and possession with intent to deliver about 9.755 kilograms of cocaine -- about 21 1/2 pounds -- and Wright also was charged with attempting to possess with intent to distribute the same amount of cocaine, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

The Drug Enforcement Administration and Kansas state troopers investigated the case. Details were not immediately available.

DEA filed complaints against all three April 12, and Williams and Wright were arrested the same day, according to court records.

Martin was arrested April 15.

Williams and Wright appeared April 12 before Magistrate George J. Limbert, Youngstown. Williams waived a detention hearing, agreeing to remain in custody until trial.

At an April 17 detention hearing, Martin and Wright were ordered held without bail by Limbert, who also bound the case over to a grand jury.

The men have to be arraigned on the charges in the indictment. A spokeswoman for Limbert said arraignments have not been set.

The case has been assigned to Judge Peter C. Economus, Youngstown.

If convicted, the men could face prison terms of 20 years to life, and an $8,000 fine.
