Rosetta Ragster/Southwest Gardens Park, the elementary school playground, the Emerson Avenue Playground and the Wheatland playground will be staffed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays until Aug. 10.

Playground activities will include games and arts and crafts.

Lunch, provided by the school district, will be served at noon daily, starting Tuesday.

These special programs also will be offered, with oversight by school district coaches: boys' basketball in McCluskey Gym; girls' basketball and volleyball for boys and girls in the high school gym; and physical fitness in the school weight room and football field.

The volleyball program begins June 24.

The playgrounds will be closed July 4.
