Bicentennial Park concert schedule set

Kalico kicks up its country heels to open the summer series of concerts at Bicentennial Park, Sharon.

The band will play at 7 p.m. June 28.

Other local talent scheduled:

  • Irish music band County Mayo, 7 p.m. July 5.

  • Spirit of the Valley Chorus, a women's barbershop ensemble, 7 p.m. July 12.

  • CompanyB, made up of the music ministry members of St. Joseph's Church, Sharon, who specialize in Broadway selections, 7 p.m. July 19.

  • European dance and music group Ansambl Karavan, 7 p.m. July 26.

  • Jazz band Brass Taxi, 7 p.m. Aug. 2.

    The shows are sponsored by the Shenango Valley Performing Arts Council and funded by the city of Sharon and Mayor Dave Ryan.

    All shows are free.
