SRU recognizes staff members for service

Slippery Rock University staff members were honored for their years of service.

The following were recognized upon their retirement:

  • More than 40 years -- Lorraine Ruley, Grove City, council of trustees and executive assistant to five university presidents.

  • 35 years -- Dr. Donald Wykoff, Grove City, counseling and educational psychology professor.

  • 33 years -- Dr. Kathleen Boykin, Slippery Rock, modern languages and cultures professor.

  • 29 years -- Dr. John Hicks, Slippery Rock, College of Education professor.

  • 28 years -- Dr. Jack Burtch, Slippery Rock, elementary education and early childhood professor.

  • 25 years -- Carla Hart, Grove City, career services director.

  • 24 years -- Philip Kennedy, School of Business associate professor.

  • 19 years -- Alice Stauffer, Slippery Rock, academic services assistant professor.
