Woman burned by fireworks is listed in good condition

A woman injured Sunday when a firework went off in the crowd enjoying Hubbard's Founders Day was listed in good condition today in the burn unit Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron.

Fourteen people were injured when the pyrotechnic fell into a group of people watching the fireworks in Harding Park. Most were treated at area hospitals and two were admitted.

Today, only Tracy Mroski, 30, of Hubbard, remained hospitalized, according to hospital Public and Media Relations Specialist, Laurie Schueler.

The Ohio State Fire Marshall is still investigating.

Van Burnett, owner of Burnett Displays, which set off the fireworks display was unavailable for comment.
