Goddard State Park sets August programs
M.K. Goddard State Park, Sandy Lake, is hosting the following environmental interpretive programs:
» "Purple Martins and People" -- 10 to 11 a.m. Aug. 3 in the Environmental Learning Classroom at the Marina.
» "Campfire Stories" -- 8:30 to 10 p.m. Aug. 9 at Launch No. 3 Pavilion. Participants should bring a story and something to sit on.
» "Frogs and Toads" -- 2 to 3 p.m. Aug. 10 in the Environmental Learning Classroom at the Marina.
» "Watching Wildlife" -- 7 to 8 p.m. Aug. 10 in the Environmental Learning Classroom at the Marina.
» "Wildflower Walk" -- 10 to 11 a.m. and 2 to 3 p.m. Aug. 11 at the parking lot adjacent to the pavilion at Launch No. 3.
» "Know Your Trees" -- 10 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 17 at Falling Run Trailhead.
» "The Bald Eagle" -- 7 to 8 p.m. Aug. 23 in the Environmental Learning Classroom at the Marina.
» "Wetland Wonders" -- 10 to 11 a.m. Aug. 24 in the Environmental Learning Classroom at the Marina.
» "Mid-Week Saunter" -- 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Falling Run Trailhead.
