   » "Pennsylvania Owls" -- 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Aug. 3 near Shelter 7 at McDanel's launch area on the north shore.

   » "Smart Angler" -- 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 4 and Sept. 2 at Porters Cove, for children. Registration is needed.

   » "Honorable Herons" -- 10 to 11 a.m. Aug. 5 near Shelter 7.

   » "Monarch Madness" -- 1 to 2 p.m. Aug. 6 at Bear Run launch on the south shore.

   » "Salamander Safari" -- 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Aug. 7 at the park office.

   » "Moraine Past and Present" -- 10 to 11 a.m. Aug. 10 on Sunken Garden trail, south shore.

   » "Tree ID" -- Noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 11 at Hilltop Trail, south shore.

   » "Herbal Medicine, Fact and Folklore" -- 2 to 3 p.m. Aug. 12 on Sunken Garden trail.

   » "The Lorax and Trees" -- 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at Pleasant View picnic area, south shore.

   » "Fern Fun Facts" -- 11 a.m. to noon Aug. 14 at Wyggeston trailhead.

   » "Bug Basics" -- 11 a.m. to noon Aug. 18 at Pleasant View picnic area.

   » "Summer Wildflowers" -- 10 to 11 a.m. Aug. 19 at Sunken Garden trailhead.

   » "Acid Rain! So What?" -- 11 a.m. to noon Aug. 20 at Pleasant View picnic area.
