Thieves
stole items
from parked vehicles

The following is this week's Mercer County Crime Solvers case:

   » Crime: Thefts.

   » Details: A variety of items were stolen from 12 vehicles during the early morning hours of Monday. The stolen items included cash, change, compact discs and tools. The area in which the cars were parked is bordered by Stambaugh and South Oakland avenues and Budd and George streets. Most of the vehicles were unlocked.

   » Call: Crime Solvers at (724) 347-HELP, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Callers can remain anonymous and still be eligible for a cash reward. Anyone with information can also call the Sharon police at (724) 983-3210.

   » Reward: Crime Solvers is a non-profit organization which offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible for a serious crime in the Mercer County area.
