Accused psychic didn't know client was undercover cop

A Hermitage man was charged with fortunetelling after an undercover Hermitage police officer had his future read with Tarot cards by the alleged psychic, police said.

Marques D. Campbell, 40, of 195 Dutch Lane, Hermitage, could go to jail for up to a year and be fined up to $2,500, for charging money for telling fortunes, an illegal activity in Pennsylvania, according to Hermitage Deputy police chief Larry Matchak.

Campbell had his business cards and tarot cards confiscated from his home after the incident, police said. He charged the undercover officer $25 for his reading. Police chief Ed Stanton said his officer described the fortune he was given as "not even that good."
