Injured passenger's condition improves
The condition of a New Castle woman injured in a motorcycle-car accident Aug. 20 in Jackson Township has improved.
Kathryn Fray, 36, of New Castle, was listed in serious condition Friday at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, a hospital spokeswoman said.
She was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by Jay Fray, 42, also of New Castle, that collided with a car driven by Jonathon M. Hill, 19, of Sandy Lake at Route 62 and North Cottage Road, police said.
Jay Fray, 42, also of New Castle, remained in fair condition, the spokeswoman said.
