Man thrown from bike listed in fair condition

A Masury man injured in an Aug. 29 motorcycle crash was in fair condition Thursday at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Michael Shank, 40, of Broadway Avenue, was thrown about 30 feet from his motorcycle after it collided with a pickup truck on Sterling Avenue in Sharon, police said.

Shank was admitted to the hospital at Sharon Regional Health System after the wreck and transferred Sunday.

The driver of the pickup, James Thomas, 49, of 712 Park Ave., Farrell, was cited for driving under suspension and making an illegal left turn, police said.
