Crash victims go home

Two Shenango Valley residents injured Monday when the sport utility vehicle they were in collided with a tractor-trailer on U.S. Route 62 in Hubbard Township have been released from St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Mario Ocasio, 59, of Hermitage, was flown to the hospital after he drove his SUV under a tractor-trailer driven by James Black, 52, of Michigan, the Ohio Highway Patrol said. Black had been attempting to make a left-hand turn into Truck World Mall on Route 62, police said.

His passenger, Rosa Figueroa, 57, of Sharon, was also admitted to St. Elizabeth's.
