Clerk accused of stealing $40,000 in refunds
-- A Greenville woman was charged with taking more than $40,000 over two years from the Hermitage grocery store where she worked, Hermitage police said.
Deborah D. Clark, 31, of 1 Grove St., was charged with theft by deception after she allegedly took the money through fake refunds from Giant Eagle in Hermitage Towne Plaza, police said. Ms. Clark turned herself in Wednesday.
