Mother in fatal crash released from hospital

Tara Gelesky, whose 3-year-old daughter was killed in a one-car crash Wednesday, has been released from UPMC Horizon, Farrell, a hospital spokeswoman said Saturday.

Chloe Gelesky was killed when the car driven by her mother went off the road in front of 109 Wansack Road and flipped onto its roof in a ravine, police said. She died at 4:01 p.m. Wednesday in Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Assistant Police Chief Ronald Ziglear said he has not interviewed Ms. Gelesky, 20, of Judson Avenue, Masury. He said her doctor encouraged him Friday not to talk to her that day. Ziglear said he will try to see her this week.

Chloe's funeral service will be held today.
