Shenango Valley Charter Chapter of American Business Women's Association held its Boss/Associate Night meeting Nov. 6 in Radisson Hotel of Sharon, Shenango Township.
Glen A. Augustine and Karen L. Duda were honored as Boss and Associate of the Year, respectively, for 2002.
Augustine is president of Greenville Savings Bank, which has offices in Greenville and Hermitage. He travels daily between the two banks and, under his guidance, Greenville Savings has grown.
Carole Giroski nominated Augustine.
Ms. Duda is chairperson of Youngstown State University's computer science and information systems department.
She has taught for 33 years and received the 1991 and 2000 distinguished professor awards for excellence in teaching. Jean Hauger nominated Ms. Duda.
Mary Ann McConnell, state Republican committeeperson, spoke on running for political office.
Past Boss and Associate of the Year winners were recognized.
