A Hadley man is dead after a Thanksgiving Day car accident, police said.

William McQuiston, 93, of 1 Grandview Drive, Lot 13, was pronounced dead of a heart attack by Deputy Coroner Scott Black at UPMC Horizon, Greenville, police said.

McQuiston stopped his car at the intersection of Kinsman and North Good Hope roads at 11:44 a.m., police said, and proceeded through the intersection.

McQuiston's car was struck on the driver's side by a car driven by Greg McLaughlin, no age given, of 344 N. Summit Road, Jamestown.

Police said attempts were made to revive McQuiston at the scene.
