Boy, 12, injured when bicycle hits car

A 12-year-old boy was taken to a hospital after his bike hit a car at 5:39 p.m. Tuesday on Clarksville Street in Greenville, police said.

Jonathan Cueto of 25 Clarksville St. suffered head and facial injuries and was still being treated at UPMC Horizon, Greenville, police said Tuesday night.

Jonathan was riding his bicycle westbound on Virginia Way, an alley, and didn't stop at Clarksville, police said.

While the boy avoided a northbound truck, he hit a southbound car in the driver's side front fender, police said.

The car was driven by Rose Young, 96, of 405 N. Darby Road, Hermitage, police said.
