Township government reorganizations

Fairview Township

During its 2003 reorganizational meeting township officials re-elected Mont L. Clark as chairperson and Barry Struthers as vice chairman.

Meetings were re-set for 6:30 p.m. the second Wednesday of every month at the Fairview Township Municipal building, 1578 N. Perry Highway, Fredonia.

Findley Township

Findley Township officials re-elected Elliott G. Lengel as chairman during its 2003 reorganizational meeting and Andrew Tomson was re-elected as vice chairman.

Meetings were also again set at 8 p.m. the first Wednesday of every month at the township building, 369 McClelland Road, Mercer.

Hempfield Township

Hempfield Township supervisors chose Russell L. Dawes as board chairman at their reorganization meeting Monday. Gary E. Hittle was elected as vice-chairman.

Hittle will also serve as township secretary and treasurer for the next year.

The township supervisors will meet the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. in the township building.

Jackson Township

Brian Patterson was appointed chairman of the township board of supervisors at the board's reorganization meeting Monday night.

Gary T. Oakes was chosen as vice chair. Susan Rogers is the township secretary and treasurer.

The board will meet at 8 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month at the township building.

Jefferson Township

Jefferson Township supervisors reorganized Monday, re-appointing Richard D. Brandes as chairman of the board.

Russell S. Nickel was chosen as vice-chairman. Sandra L. Durney is the township secretary and treasurer.

The board of supervisors will meet at 7 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month in the township building.

Lackawannock Township

Township supervisors reorganized Monday, retaining Dick Schuller as chairman. Daniel Gardner is vice chair, and Iva Kerrick is the township secretary and treasurer.

Jody Scopack is the assistant township secretary.

The supervisors will meet the second Tuesday of each month 7:30 p.m. in the township building.

Pine Township

Tom Paxton was elected chairman and Joe Holmes was elected vice chairman.

Meetings are at 7:30 p.m. the first and third Mondays of the month at the township building.

Pymatuning Township

Joseph Selnekovich was elected chairman and James Kaller was elected vice chairman.

Meetings are at 7:30 p.m. the second Thursday of the month at the township building.

Salem Township

John W. McCurdy was elected chairman and Jeffrey J. Kline was elected vice chairman.

Meetings are at 7 p.m. the first Monday of the month at secretary Carol Maybee's home.

Sandy Creek Township

Roger Cline was elected chairman and Brian Harsh was elected vice chairman.

Meetings are at 7 p.m. the first Monday of the month at the township building.

Sandy Lake Township

Edwin C. Olson was elected chairman and Merle H. Wareham was elected vice chairman.

Meetings are at 7:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of the month at the township building.

Worth Township

William Struthers was re-elected chairman of the board of supervisors. Leroy "Denny" Geibel will serve as vice chairman.

Regular meetings will be held at 7:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month at the home of township Secretary Angela M. George, 309 Creek Road.

West Salem Township

At their reorganization meeting Monday, West Salem Township supervisors re-appointed Ken Sherbondy as chairman of the board. Bill Wingard was retained as co-chair, and Vonna Murrin was re-appointed as township secretary.

Monthly meetings will be held the second Tuesday of each month at the township building.
