A 7-year-old girl from McKees Rocks, Pa., who was injured in a car accident Dec. 21 in Findley Township was discharged Wednesday from a Pittsburgh hospital.

Adeline Vennell had been in UPMC Children's Hospital since the accident last month.

The girl's grandmother, Miriam J. Ventura, 51, of Pittsburgh was driving north on Scrubgrass Road when her car drifted into the left lanes, striking another car head-on.

Neither Adeline, nor two other children ages 9 and 4, were not wearing seatbelts; Ms. Ventura was wearing one, police said.
