Teen faces weapons, drug charges

Steven M. Robich, 18, of 2580 Longview Road, Hermitage, has been charged with making terroristic threats, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of drug paraphernalia, underage possession of alcohol and being a minor operating a motor vehicle with alcohol in his system.

Police said they received a report Jan. 30 from a woman who on Tree Top Lane that Robich came to her home Jan. 27, showed her a handgun and bullets and told her to keep quiet about his friend breaking several of her ribs two weeks earlier.

Robich was stopped later that day in a shopping plaza parking lot, when police spotted the car he was driving with a broken brake light, police said.

An unloaded handgun and drug paraphernalia made out of a paper towel roll and aluminum were under the front seat, police said.
