Crime Solvers offers reward for Dec. 13 shooting info
The following is this week's Mercer County Crime Solvers case:
» Crime: Criminal attempted murder
» Details: Sharon police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Dec. 13 in the 400 block of Davis Street. At about 6 p.m., a resident heard a knock at his door, and upon answering, was shot once in the neck area with a handgun.
Sharon police have obtained a warrant for the suspect on charges of criminal attempt homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.
The suspect is identified as Demetrius Artiteus Williams, 26. He is 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighs 300 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Williams' last known address is San Bernadino, Calif., but is believed to be in the Sharon/Farrell/Youngstown area.
Williams is also wanted in California for kidnapping and attempted murder. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sharon police or Crime Solvers.
