Guitarist Longley's services
Sunday

The family of Ty Longley has completed arrangements for the former Great White guitarist killed in the Feb. 20 nightclub fire in West Warrick, R.I.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Cornerhouse Christian Church, Hubbard Township. While the service is not private, Longley's father, Pat, said the church seats only 450 people and he wants to limit attendance to family members and close friends.

"We're going to get a hell of a crowd," he said. "I don't want it to turn into a circus."

A tribute to the musician will follow at about 3:30 p.m. at Yankee Lake Ballroom [Route 7 north of Route 82, Yankee Lake, Ohio]. Longley said anyone may attend the tribute, which likely will feature music.

Longley's girlfriend, Heidi Peralta of Plainfield, Ill., has set up a fund for their unborn child.

Donations may be sent to The Baby Longley Fund, in Memory of My Daddy Ty Longley, in care of First Midwest Bank, 2300 Illinois Route 59, Plainfield, IL, 60544.

Checks should be made out to The Baby Longley Fund.
