Lakeview instructor named group's Teacher of the Year
Lee Faulconbridge, a teacher at Lakeview High School in Sandy Lake Township, has received the 2003 Pennsylvania Family and Consumer Science Teacher of the Year Award.
The accolade will be presented April 4 during the organization's 80th annual state meeting.
Her winning education program, entitled "Family Living," is designed to help students grow into responsible adults by giving them information about living with a family.
The course is required for graduation from Lakeview.
The member of American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences in Alexandria, Va., earned a master of arts degree in education in 1986 from Villanova (Pa.) University.
She lives in Grove City.
