Jack Greer Memorial Post 52, Veterans of the Vietnam War, Meadville, is sponsoring "Project Support Our Troops."

The public is urged to provide the name, military address, birthday (for birthday gifts), branch of service and country (if known) of military personnel to Project Support Our Troops, Veterans of the Vietnam War Post 52, 637 Madison Ave., Meadville 16335. Those submitting information must also provide their name, phone number and e-mail address in case a package is returned because of an incorrect address. All information is confidential.

Donations of money will be accepted to defray mailing costs. Other items needed include individual wet naps, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, disposable razors, beef jerky, female products, toilet paper, Pringles potato chips, gum, non-perishable candy, 72-inch black boot laces, instant coffee packets, cotton balls, Ramen noodles, pre-paid calling cards, AA and AAA batteries, stationery, pens and pencils, hand-held games, small hand sanitizers, Kiwi boot polish, crossword puzzle books, tea, lip balm and travel size mouthwash, shampoo and lotion.

The closest drop-off station is at Laurie's Embroidery, 637 Madison Ave., Meadville.
