Owner, Grand Book and Bible
Grand Book and Bible,
the only full-service Christian
bookstore in Lawrence
County, was founded in the
early 1970’s by Gaylord Kauf-
mann. It was located for over
30 years on East Wallace Av-
enue and
moved in
August 2003
to its pres-
ent location
at
2416
Wilmington Road, New Cas-
tle. The business is inde-
pendently owned by three lo-
cal businesswomen and not
affiliated with a specific
church or chain of stores.
The spacious and attrac-
tively arranged sales floor oc-
cupies approximately 5,500
square feet.
Our wide variety of mer-
chandise is designed to suit
all Christian beliefs and
tastes and to meet our cus-
tomers’ needs for spiritual
growth and personal min-
istry. Our product line in-
cludes Bibles, Bible studies,
Bible covers, inspirational
books (fiction and non-fic-
tion), DVD’s for family enter-
tainment, children’s books
and games, apparel, jewelry,
printed and recorded music,
accompaniment CD’s, greet-
ing cards, pocket cards,
bookmarks, stationary, jour-
nals, calendars, inspirational
gifts for everyday and special
occasions (wedding, anniver-
sary, graduation, confirma-
tion, first holy communion,
birth, baptism, bereave-
ment), tapestry throws and
wall hangings, wind chimes,
framed inspirational art,
plaques, seasonal items, can-
dles, church supplies, Sun-
day school and vacation
Bible school curriculum.
Our staff and management
are committed to providing
our customers with excep-
tional personalized service.
Services include free Bible
imprinting, free gift wrap,
UPS shipping, and gift cards.
We offer fundraising op-
portunities in which church-
es and non-profit organiza-
tions can earn 20 percent of
the total on their “private
sales.” In 2012, Grand Book
and Bible will present its an-
nual vacation Bible school
workshops this Tuesday and
Wednesday at First Assem-
bly of God Church in New
Castle. We also plan to pro-
vide on-site sales at the
Women’s Retreat, March 16-
17, at East Main Presbyter-
ian Church in Grove City.

By Walt Kishton
Owner, Shirt Wizard
In business for more than
30 years, Walt Kishton, also
known as the Shirt Wizard,
has done nothing short of
perfecting his craft. He has
been stylishly clothing men,
women, and children alike
for quite some time.
A pioneer in a fledgling in-
dustry, Walt spent his early
years on the road selling T-
shirts at specialty shows and
fairs out of the trunk of his
car. The Shirt Wizard still
spends a great deal of his
time on the road anywhere
between New Jersey and
Chicago and loves every as-
pect of it.
However, he also operates
a 3,000-square-foot store
across the street from the
Boardman Giant Eagle on
U.S. Route 224 in the
Raphael’s Beauty School
plaza.
The store serves as head-
quarters for his work with
businesses, organizations,
and the public. It also houses
more than 4,000 different
stock designs and an equally
impressive assortment of T-
s h i r t s ,
sweats, jack-
ets,
and
hats. When
that kind of
inventory is
matched with sizes stem-
ming from youth 2/4 up to
adults 5XL, there is no doubt
you will leave with some-
thing that fits you.
What’s more, once you’re
inside, you will realize that,
not only do you have the op-
tion of choosing from the
wide variety of designs, rang-
ing from hobby-related to an-
imals, but they also offer
some other services.
If you prefer to customize
your own clothing, you can
bring in any photograph for
them to create a unique de-
sign to match any occasion.
Also there is a full line of silk
screening and embroidery
options.
So whether you’re a busi-
ness or organization looking
for some specialty advertis-
ing or just someone looking
for a one-of-a-kind gift for a
loved one, look no further.
Just stop at the Shirt Wizard
for clothing that’s absolutely
spell-binding.

SHARON
By Mark Jubelirer
Co-owner, Reyers Shoe Store
In 2011, Reyers celebrated
our 125th anniversary selling
shoes in downtown Sharon.
We had a flurry of events, in-
cluding a give away of
$10,000 in gift cards, and
storewide sales. Our theme
was that we were continuing
to do business in the future
as we had always done in
the past, by offering a selec-
tion of sizes and styles un-
available elsewhere, by offer-
ing superlative service and
competitive prices.
This year, Reyers plans to
exceed expectations. We in-
tend to carry event more of
the increasingly hard-to-find
sizes that our customers
need, and even more excit-
ing brand names and styles.
Our clientele will continue
being able to rely on our
world-class,
knowledge-
able sales
staff.
R e y e r s
now has a
Facebook page, and a brand
new, customer-friendly web-
site, reyers.com
Above and beyond all of
this, Reyers is giving away
“Free shoes for life!” to some
lucky someone, at the end of
2012.
Anyone who comes in to
Reyers in 2012 can register
to win “Free Shoes for Life!”
And more – at the end of
each month, Reyers is giving
away a $500 gift card, too. So
sign up every month or
everyday. No purchase nec-
essary. No tax on shoes in
Sharon.
Exceeding expectations.
The time-honored tradition
of our business.
