Glenn E. Shearer
'95 Reynolds grad lived in Fredonia, had been in Army

Glenn E. Shearer of 15 Liberty St., Fredonia, died unexpectedly at 8:30 a.m. Friday morning, April 26, 2002, in Ross Township, Allegheny County. He was 25.

Mr. Shearer was born Jan. 22, 1977, in Greenville, a son of Thomas E. and Mary Jane Anderson Shearer.

He was a member of Fredonia United Methodist Church and a 1995 graduate of Reynolds High School.

Mr. Shearer had served as a specialist with the U.S. Army, where he subsequently became disabled.

He is survived by: his parents, Fredonia; and a sister, Rhonda Thompson and her husband Sam; and two nephews, Andrew Glenn Thompson and Hunter Thompson, all of whom also live in Fredonia; and several aunts and uncles.

Mr. Shearer was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Dorothy Shearer; and his maternal grandparents, Clyde and Marjorie Anderson.

The family has asked that those planning expressions of sympathy consider contributions to the DARE Program in care of Reynolds High School, 365 Reynolds Road, Greenville 16125.

William T. Haggard III, 1024 Palmer Road, Mercer, died at 12:55 a.m. Saturday (4-27-01) in UPMC Horizon, Farrell. He was 59.
