Emmett Lehner Retired WE inspector formerly lived in Masury NEWTON FALLS, Ohio -- Emmett Lehner, 1008 Paige Court, Newton Falls, Ohio, formerly of Masury, died at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2002, in his daughter's residence. He was 85. Mr. Lehner was born Dec. 27, 1916, in Pittsburgh to Benjamin Lehner and Nellie Holman Lehner. He resided with his daughter for the past 2èyears. Mr. Lehner was a quality control inspector for the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp., retiring in 1979 after 42 years of service. He was of the Methodist faith and belonged to Loyal Order of the Moose. His wife, the former Eleanor Wiand, whom he married Dec. 27, 1947, died Dec. 10, 1982. Surviving are: one son, Joseph Donald Lehner, West Palm Beach, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Richard D. Nord, Newton Falls; one sister, Jean Hawkey, New Alexandria, Va.; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, Mr. Lehner was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joseph Lehner and George "Honey" Lehner; and a son, James Lehner. Memorial contributions may be made to Newton Falls United Methodist Church, 336 Ridge Road, Newton Falls, Ohio 44444.
LEHNER Lilly Mae Taylor South Py woman belonged to First Baptist Church Lilly Mae Taylor, 1830 Powers Ave., South Pymatuning Township, died at 8:35 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, in Countryside Convalescent Home, East Lackawannock Township, after an extended illness. She was 85. Mrs. Taylor was born Sept. 17, 1917, in Dry Ridge, Ky., to Chester Roberts and Sidney Prince Roberts. She was a 1934 graduate of Sharpsville High School. Mrs. Taylor was a member of First Baptist Church in Sharpsville and its Joy Class. Her husband, Elmer "Shorty" Taylor, whom she married Aug. 25, 1942, survives at home. Also surviving are: three sons, Tom Taylor and his wife, Ann, Pittsburgh; Merle Taylor and his wife, Gail, New Market, Md.; and Paul Taylor and his partner, James Wygal, Sharpsville; one daughter, Linda Hickman and her husband, Wayne, Sharpsville; 10 grandchildren, Scot and Susan Taylor, Amy Carter, Beth Lloyd, Julie Strama, Timothy Hickman, Jeffrey Taylor Hickman; and Sara, Noel and Ryan Taylor; and three great-grandchildren, Emily and Frank Strama; and Rachel Carter. Mrs. Taylor also leaves: two sisters, Shirley Grimm and her husband, Walter, Hermitage; and Kathaleen Kane, Sharpsville; one brother, Merle Roberts, New Mexico; one sister-in-law, Bessie Roberts, Sharpsville; and one brother-in-law, Clarence Hickman, Hermitage. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert Taylor; one sister, Edna Hickman; and one brother, John Roberts. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 185 Union Ave., Sharpsville 16150.
