Helen G. Moore Helen G. Moore, 55 W. Connelly Blvd., Sharon, died at 12:40 a.m. today (5-24-02) in O'Brien Memorial Nursing Home, Masury. She was 71. Obituary information was incomplete.
MOORE Lora Emma Rigby Brookfield woman was St. Paul's UCC member A funeral service will be held Saturday for Lora Emma Rigby, formerly of 60 Manor Drive, Brookfield. She died at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2002, in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage, after an extended illness. She was 87. Mrs. Rigby was born Feb. 23, 1917, in Fontuna, Mich., to George F. Hoelzle and Vida L. Alford Hoelzle. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Hermitage. Her husband, John W. Rigby, whom she married Oct. 19, 1935, died Nov. 20, 1994. Surviving are: a son-in-law, Leonard Kutnak, Vienna; a brother, Corwin G. Hoelzle, Hermitage; a granddaughter, Mrs. Robert (Sherri) Krznar Jr., Brookfield; and a great-grandson, Robert S. Krznar III, also Brookfield. Besides her husband, Mrs. Rigby was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Joan Kutnak; a brother, Marlan F. Hoelzle; and an aunt who reared her, Sophia Kirby. Pollock Masury homemaker retired as Shenango Inn housekeeper A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday for Josephine J. Pollock of 1279 Broadway Ave., Masury. She died at 6 a.m. Thursday (5-23-02) in her residence. She was 84. Mrs. Pollock was born March 29, 1918, in Farrell, a daughter of John and Apalonia Arbaczewski Dziejak. She was a homemaker and retired in 1975 as a housekeeper from what was the Shenango Inn in Sharon, where she worked for 15 years. Mrs. Pollock was a member of St. Bernadette's Church, Masury, and its Altar Rosary Society. Her husband, Michael F. Pollock, whom she married Jan. 30, 1941, died Feb. 13, 1979. Survivors include: a son, Gerald "Jerry" Pollock and his wife Fran, Prosperity, S.C.; three daughters, Michaelene Pollock, Brookfield; Mrs. Charles (Barbara) Mason, Coitsville, Ohio; and Erika Jantzen, Masury; two sisters Mary Geiak, Warren, Ohio; and Helen Scanlon, Hermitage; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Besides her husband, Mrs. Pollock was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Michael; a brother, Joseph Geiak; and two sisters, Sally Geiak and Mildred Syslo. Reimold Delaware Twp. tax assessor was active in St. Mark's UCC A funeral service will be held Saturday for Lois M. Reimold, 1015 E. Lake Road, formerly of Delaware Grove and Quarry Road in Oniontown, all Delaware Township. She passed away at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2002, in her residence of natural causes. She was 75. Mrs. Reimold was born Nov. 1, 1926, in Mercer to Clarence and Olive Kelso Palmer. She worked for the former Cooper Energy Services Reciprocating Products in Grove City. She then went to work for Mercer County Courthouse for 19 years, retiring as the assistant chief tax assessor. Upon her retirement at the courthouse, she became the tax assessor for Delaware Township, which was her current position. Throughout her career, she also helped keep the books for her husband's business, the former Reimold Sterling Services in Delaware Township. She was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ in New Hamburg, where she was active in the former quilting club. She enjoyed helping with various church activities. She and her husband, Stan, helped organize a 500 club in which they played cards in the members' homes. She also belonged to the Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 919, Fredonia, where she enjoyed playing bingo with her husband for the past several years. She enjoyed making ceramics and attending classes instructed by her neighbor, Diane Geiwitz. Several years ago, she taught sewing classes at 4-H in the Delaware Civic League. Surviving are: her husband, Stanley F. Reimold, whom she married July 4, 1948; two sons, David S. Reimold Sr. and his wife, Nancy, Cochranton; and Richard K. Reimold and his wife, Tracy, Transfer; a daughter, Mrs. Dean (Barbara) Bossick, New Wilmington; two brothers, Dale Palmer, Virginia; and DeWayne Palmer, Mercer; two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Louise) Riddle, Mercer; and Mrs. John (Mary Jean) Kraynak, West Virginia; six grandchildren, David S. Reimold Jr., Meadville; Melissa Reimold, Baltimore; twins, Tyler and Taylor Reimold; and Dustin Reimold, all Transfer; and Kevin Bailey; and one great-granddaughter, Ashley Reimold, Struthers, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harold and Wayne Palmer; and two sisters, Twila Victor and Virginia Miller. REIMOLD Myron R. 'Duck' Williamson Retired truck driver served in Covenant Presbyterian Myron R. "Duck" Williamson of 1034 Bon Air Drive, Sharon, died of natural causes at 9:55 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2002, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. He was 85. He was the husband of Margaret Beil Williamson, whom he married March 20, 1946. Born March 20, 1917, in Youngs-town, Mr. Williamson was a son of the late Harper and Alice Stull Williamson. He was a 1936 graduate of Shippensburg (Pa.) High School. Mr. Williamson served in World War II as a Petty Officer Third Class in the Navy, having earning the Victory Medal while serving in the Asiatic Pacific. He worked as a truck driver for Ohio Fast Freight, Cortland, for seven years, retiring in 1979. Previously Mr. Williamson had worked for 20 years as a truck driver at the former Warner-Smith trucking company, Masury. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sharon, where he had served as a deacon and also taught Sunday school. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: a son, R. Clark, husband of Mary Williamson, Hermitage; a son, D. Mark, husband of Sue Williamson, Sharon; a sister, Marcelene Wingert, Fort Loudon, Pa.; a sister, Helen Noel, Hagerstown, Md.; a brother, Palmer Williamson, Parker Ford, Pa.; and a brother, Ronald Williamson, Fayetteville, Pa. Mr. Williamson had three grandchildren, Shawn Kimmel; and Daniel and David Williamson. He is also survived by his dog, Coco, with whom he loved spending time. Besides his parents, Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason C. Robinson; a sister, Winifred Hershey; and three brothers, Herman, Foster and Harold Williamson. WILLIAMSON Clyde A. 'Bozzie' Campbell Korean War vet of Farrell was National Castings retiree A funeral service will be held Saturday for Clyde A. "Bozzie" Campbell, 602 Wallis Ave., Farrell. He died Tuesday afternoon (5-21-02) in Specialty Hospital, Youngstown. He was 71. Mr. Campbell was born Nov. 10, 1930, in Lake Coma, Miss., to Albert Campbell and Ethel Mae Thigpen Campbell. He retired in 1982 as a coremaker for National Castings Division of Midland-Ross Corp., Sharon, where he worked for 27 years. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Campbell served during the Korean conflict. He was a member of Valley Baptist Church, Farrell. Mr. Campbell enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking outdoors and vacationing in his hometown of Bay Springs. Surviving are: his wife, the former Winnie Keller, whom he married Jan. 2, 1954; five sons, Clyde S. Campbell, Lansing, Mich.; Ricky Campbell and his wife Charlotte, Sacramento, Calif.; Glen Campbell and his wife Stacey, Masury; Kenneth Campbell, at home; and Vincent Campbell, Farrell; two daughters, Charlean Campbell, Sharon; and Mrs. Jackie (Gwyn E.) Bell, Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Jimmy D. Tatum, Bay Springs, Miss.; and James E. Tatum and his wife Ethel, Soso, Miss.; three sisters, Mary N. Clayton and Elsie D. Henry, both Farrell; and Jerlean Brazier, Gulf Port, Miss.; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a loving and caring cousin, William "Nuke" Jones, Wheatland; a goddaughter, Maria Wheeler, Hermitage; and a host of nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law, cousins, other relatives and friends.
