Larry L. Richael Family dairy farm partner was Marine Corps veteran Funeral services will be Monday (12-23-02) for Larry L. Richael, 89 Coulson Road, Stoneboro. He died unexpectedly at 1:05 p.m. Thursday (12-19-02) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. He was 63. He was born Oct. 6, 1939, on the family farm in Lake Township to William C. and Mary A. Nelson Richael. He was a 1957 graduate of Lakeview High School. After graduation, he served three years in the U.S. Marines and then came home and became partner with his brother, Robert, forming Richael Brothers Dairy Farm, a farm still operated by their sons. He also was a co-founder of Lakeview Fertilizer of Stoneboro. He loved farming and working outdoors and spending time with his family. For many years, he was a member of the National Farmers Organization. He also served on the board of directors of Agway Inc. He married Rose M. Procner on Dec. 30, 1961, and she survives at home. Also surviving are one daughter, Stacie L. Richael of Fredonia; and one son, Kevin D. Richael and his wife, Jennifer, of Stoneboro; three grandsons; Derek, Dalton and Cole Richael, all of Stoneboro; two sisters, Mrs. Cloyd E. (Patricia) Curry of Mercer; and Mrs. Frank (Janet) Laaks of Mercer; and one brother, Richard W. Richael of Farrell. His parents; one infant son; and three brothers, Lester, Robert and Nelson Richael, preceded him in death. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 59 N. RICHAEL Daniel Hurayt Delta Airlines supervisor was Air Force veteran Daniel Hurayt, Pembroke Pines, Fla., formerly of Sharon, died Thursday (12-19-02) in Memorial Regional Hospital, Hollywood, Fla. He was 68. Mr. Hurayt was born Aug. 26, 1934, in Sharon to John and Anna Bruzik Hurayt. The United States Air Force veteran was a supervisor for Delta Airlines in south Florida. Surviving are: three sons, Daniel E., Robert D. and Steven M. Hurayt, all Pembroke Pines; three brothers, Gerald, Andrew and Edward Hurayt, all Pennsylvania; a sister, Anna Usko, Sharon; and five grandchilden. athleen M. McDonald Homemaker, nurse was devoted to her family Kathleen M. McDonald, 956 Alcoma St., Sharon, died at 9:27 p.m. Wednesday (12-18-02) at her residence. She was 78. Mrs. McDonald was born Jan. 14, 1924, in Kane, Pa., to Karl and Margaret Nichols Swanson. She graduated in 1941 from Kane High School and in 1946 as a registered nurse from Meadville School of Nursing. Mrs. McDonald was a homemaker. The most important thing to her was family. Her husband, J. Parker McDonald died Feb. 14, 1994. Survivors include: two sons, Jay McDonald, Leesburg, Va.; and Scott and Joy McDonald, Forreston, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Jay (Gretchen) Workman, Arlington, Texas; Mrs. Robert (Sandy) Tarkanick, Hermitage; and Tina McDonald, Sharon; two sisters, Helen Johnson, Bradford, Pa.; and Clara Jane Shinafelt, Palm Harbor, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, James Swanson. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 59 N. Crescent Drive, Hermitage, Pa. 16148.

Karen Ann Pyle Winslow Former Sharon resident worked for Duke Energy Karen Ann Pyle Winslow, Denver, formerly of Sharon, died at 2 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, in Porter Hospice of Denver from cancer. She was 52. She was born in April 1950 in Hartford, Conn., a daughter of the late Paul P. and Ailsa "Bobbie" Smith Pyle. She was a 1968 graduate of Bethel Park High School and attended Centre College of Danville, Ky. Mrs. Winslow was employed by Duke Energy Corp. of Denver. She was the beloved wife of Edward Winslow, whom she married in June of 1987. She was the adored sister of John C. Pyle of Hermitage; and Douglas K. Pyle of Sharon. She is also survived by two step-sons, Edward Winslow Jr. of Dallas; and Alex Winslow of Austin, Texas. Karen was a treasured friend of all who knew her. She loved deeply, lived fully and smiled richly throughout her life. The world is a lesser place without her. Memorial contributions may be made to Porter Hospice, 5020 E.
